Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American theater and film actress. She has been a professional actor for 27 years. Her acting debut was on stage with an off Broadway production called The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. One year later, she was chosen for her first role on TV in The Perfect Tribute. In 1992, she got her first role as a character supporting in Basic Instinct. This marked the start of her career acting career. Then, in The Firm, she played the leading female character for the very first time. The role was shared with Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. She was in the 90s alongside some of the top actors in Hollywood, like Gwyneth Paltrow, and Hugh Grant. She recently played Dr. Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.

The golfing abilities of Lexi is traceable to her father who was a former golfer. He was a golfer when he began golf when he was a young stage of his life. As of September 2012 Lexis was admitted to Louisiana State University in order attain a bachelor's diploma. By now she must have graduated but what grade she pocketed from the educational institution has yet to be revealed. As a daughter of golfers Lexis is no player who was not used to playing male-dominated game. The young player began her career in the very early years of her life and was the first player qualified for the US Women's Open at the age of 12 in 2007. Although she didn't win her first time, she was able to win the Aldila Junior Classic and became the second. She was the most youthful American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) athlete to take home this title, along with being the winner of the Westfield Junior PGA Championship as the youngest person to do this at the time.
